Terms of use
By using Carte IQ you accept the terms below. They are deliberately short: Carte IQ is an information tool, not a financial intermediary.

Nature of the service
Carte IQ is an information and comparison tool for Canadian credit cards. The strategies, values and rankings shown are estimates calculated from the spending you declare and from data published by issuers. They are not financial, tax or legal advice and do not take your personal situation into account (income, credit score, debt, goals).
Data accuracy
Card characteristics are collected from the issuers’ official pages and verified regularly; their verification date is shown. Terms can change without notice. The terms published by the issuer at the time of your application always prevail. A fact flagged as undocumented is not replaced by an assumption.
Card applications and links to issuers
Every card application happens on the issuer’s site, under its own terms, its own privacy policy and its approval criteria. Carte IQ plays no part in the approval decision and has access to no file. Some links to issuers are affiliate links: the affiliate disclosure explains that they influence no result.
Use of the site
You may use Carte IQ for personal, non-commercial purposes. Interfering with the service, bypassing its request limits, bulk-extracting its content or reproducing it without permission is prohibited. Carte IQ’s editorial content, methodology and visual identity are protected; card names and visuals belong to their respective issuers.
Alerts and assistant
Offer alerts are provided for information only and depend on the data verified at sending time; an e-mail may be delayed or not sent. The conversational assistant rephrases and explains information already present on the site; it chooses no card and does not replace reading the official terms.
Limitation of liability
Carte IQ is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Carte IQ cannot be held liable for losses or damages arising from the use of the site, a data inaccuracy, a decision made on the basis of an estimate, an application refused by an issuer or a service interruption. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted to you by law that cannot be waived.
Privacy
The handling of your data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the last review date appears at the top of the page. Using the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
